As an Internal Audit Summer Associate based in Los Angeles, you will take an active role within the Global Risk Management organization. You will have the opportunity to interact with various teams within and outside Global Risk Management, utilizing both technical and interpersonal skills and providing valuable risk management expertise on the adequacy of internal controls related to CG’s core operational business and/or technology functions. This includes conducting internal audit assessments and other targeted projects including performing independent testing, performing independent testing of operating effectiveness, and documenting control enhancements and recommendations. Success in this role can lead to a full-time offer as an Audit Associate in Los Angeles.
You’ll perform various internal audit activities providing objective perspective to business areas across the organization
You’ll have a meaningful project which will have an immediate impact on the business, such as improving the internal control structure, evaluating, and streamlining existing processes and assisting to protect investors, our associates, and keep Capital safe
You’ll develop an understanding of business operations and key drivers

You are currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Computer Science, or related field with an anticipated graduation date of Spring 2026
You have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
You can think independently, yet actively contribute in a collaborative environment. You are a clear and thoughtful communicator
An understanding of risk, controls, and project management is a plus

Base Rate: $28.50/hour
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
