About you and this role Dow is offering an exciting internship opportunity in Terneuzen, The Netherlands, for highly committed students enrolled in an accredited University. This program provides valuable professional work experience in a dynamic, multinational corporation, allowing interns to interface with colleagues and leaders in the Analytical Center of Excellence (ACE) and R&D. Responsibilities As an intern, you will be involved in a project focused on implementing an ICP-MS (Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry) instrument and methods to support a 24/7 lab service operation. The ACE Hydrocarbons laboratory conducts around-the-clock analyses for the Hydrocarbon plants, with an increasing demand for metal analyses at ppb levels across various sample streams. Your tasks will include: + Developing and implementing analytical ICP-MS methods for: + Various types of (sustainable) cracker feedstocks + In-process samples + Final product samples + Water samples + Ensuring reliable 24/7 operation of these analyses This internship offers a hands-on experience in a real-world laboratory setting, allowing you to contribute to a project with significant impact on lab operations.
