Currently, we are looking to hire an Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Engineer to join us in Barry, UK.
You are a motivated and innovative engineer with a passion for instrumentation and electrical systems. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team at our Barry site, where you will apply your technical expertise to support various projects and operations. You thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to contribute to productivity and performance improvements. Your proactive approach and problem-solving skills will be key in resolving technical queries and ensuring the availability of critical spares. Responsibilities
Provide technical support across various parts of the site, offering input to projects from an instrumentation standpoint.Manage and resolve technical queries related to instrumentation and electrical systems.Drive productivity and performance improvements through innovative solutions.Ensure the availability and management of critical spares.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support site operations and projects.Contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes and standards.Qualifications
Currently pursuing a university degree in Instrumentation Engineering or equivalent.Proficient in MS-Office with strong organizational and time management skills.Quick learner with the ability to apply Dow Design tools, work processes, plant standards, and best practices.Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Independent, responsible, and goal-oriented, capable of working in diverse project teams and networks.Fluent in English with an innovative and open-minded personality.Enjoys working in a lifelong learning environment with opportunities for growth and development.Your Skills
