Campus Operations Coordinator
EF High School Exchange Year (HSEY) is seeking positive, energetic, and responsible individuals interested in working with international exchange students at its camp, held on the Muhlenberg College campus in Allentown, PA.    EF International High School Camp is a summer orientation program that blends the feel of summer camp with a simulated American high school experience to help international students grow more comfortable, confident, and prepared as they begin their exchange journey.     In a welcoming environment, students engage in enriching programming, practice skills from communication to English language skills, and form strong bonds and memories with other exchange students that will last a lifetime.   The ideal candidate:  - Is comfortable liaising with facilities staff, ensuring that the needs of the program are met and that relationships are maintained  - Able to work with many stakeholders, while putting the needs of the program first   - Has an exceptional ability to assess interpersonal dynamics between staff for the purpose of building cohesive teams  - Has experience working with and managing peers   - Has a high degree of emotional intelligence - Proficient in Google platforms and Microsoft Suite, especially Excel  - Is highly organized and has experience working with a large-scale student program  - Enjoys problem solving, is solutions-oriented and remains calm in fluid situations  - Is solutions-oriented in managing a time-sensitive workload  - Is enthusiastic, patient, creative, flexible and has a great sense of humor   Camp is broken up into two (2) sessions and includes both Senior Staff and all-staff training periods as detailed below.    Arrival to campus: July 7 Training: July 8-15 Session 1: July 16 – 26 Session 2: July 30 – August 9 Staff departures: August 10   This position is a part of our Senior Staff; all candidates must be available for the full duration of our summer season. The Senior Staff collectively is responsible for the smooth operation of a fast-paced and ever-changing summer program.     Responsibilities: Main responsibilities of the Campus Operations Coordinator include communicating program needs with facilities staff and campus partners, assisting with student arrivals/departures, overseeing student housing logistics, and managing Activity Leaders while helping them feel supported in their roles. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting students with lost keys/meal cards, facilitating activity logistics on campus, providing transportation to students and staff as needed, and general administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the program.   
Requirements: All staff are required to complete two online training modules to familiarize themselves with the EF High School Exchange Year program and attend a training prior to students’ arrival.  Must have valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a minivan and 15-person van.    Compensation: The Programs Coordinators are compensated at $18/hour, with any overtime hours being paid at time and a half.  EF provides transportation to and from Muhlenberg campus, including airfare or mileage reimbursement.
