We are currently seeking a Canadian Public Sector Management Consultant to join our team in British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).  ***This is a REMOTE BC-based role (preferred locations Victoria, Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton).

Once You Are Here, You Will:  

Analyze, define standards and optimize business processes, including designing new and redesigning existing business processes to generate improvements in performance measures. 

Business Requirements Definition — Discover, analyze, define, and document the requirements that are related to a specific business objective or set of objectives. 

Analysis of Business Benefits and Benefits Realization — Lead and support the process of organising and managing, so that investment in change achieves the benefits forecasted. This includes identifying the specific expected business and outcomes derived from business process and system changes.  Measuring and objectively monitoring the achievement (or realization) of benefits is required.  

Business Architecture Analysis and Design — Analyze and develop the design, structure, and behavior of the current and future states of an enterprise to provide a common understanding of the organization. 

Organizational Design - Facilitate the design, development and deployment of robust business models and operating models, including: 

Develop corporate-wide organizational architecture  Document current business models and lifecycles  Identifying key roles, responsibilities and accountabilities  Prepare optimum future state organizational models with recommended roles and functions  Assist in the filling of the roles by creating job descriptions, evaluation and selection matrices  Facilitate the development and documentation of key functions, processes and services  Assist the deployment of new services 

Develop Service Management Frameworks/Models – Lead and facilitate the design, development and deployment of service management frameworks and models: 

Document current state Service Management frameworks and models  Document Service Profiles  Facilitate the design, development and deployment of key Service Management roles, functions and processes  Integrate this work with other related work for our clients  Work with our clients to create deployments plan for Service Management 

Business Transformation Support – support our clients with business transformation initiatives, including People and HR Management and Financial Management 

Strategic Planning – including development of Strategic Plans and Roadmaps for: 

Digital Transformation  Enterprise Systems  Enterprise Business Goal and Objectives  Technologies (e.g. GenAI Adoption)  Business Architecture (in conjunction with Technology Architecture) 

Business Program Evaluation – Develop logic models and evaluation frameworks in support of assessing program/initiative efficiency, effectiveness and expansion 

New Program Development – including: 

Developing Program scope and approach  Build Program accountabilities and responsibilities  Establish Key Actions – 30-60-90 day plans 

Prepare Communication and Presentation Material - Create material suitable for senior executive audiences that can be shared with stakeholders, technology leadership, business leadership, and others regarding updated vision, priorities, challenges, etc. 

 

Required Qualifications:  

8+ years of business consulting experience involving diverse technology and senior management stakeholder communities 

5+ years of Public Sector business consulting experience 

2+ years of experience as a technology project manager leading major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components to address business challenges and achieve organizational change goals and objectives as part of a business transformation program. 

Experience with support of funding requests including business case and government capital acquisition processes 

Experience in the strategic planning of transformation projects with the outcome of program and service modernization, integrating Service Design and Lean approaches to achieve benefits 

 

Preferred Skills:  

Familiarity with Enterprise IT Architecture 

Familiarity with Organizational Communications and Change Management  

Experience with Public Sector Procurement 

CMC designation  

PMI certification

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this role is $118,000-$198,000 CAD. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all BC locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.  This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a retirement savings program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
