This position ensures operational excellence across multiple service locations while building strong community relationships to enhance program reach and effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Exercise Science, Public Health, Business, Management, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in listed fields and 3 years of relevant experience Experience in healthcare or wellness program management Strong understanding of community health principles Excellence in stakeholder relationship management Strong organizational and leadership abilities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities Budget management experience Proficiency in program evaluation and reporting Cultural competency and sensitivity


Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cancer patients or in oncology settings or other medical field Knowledge of academic-healthcare partnerships Background in wellness program implementation Experience with student training or mentorship Grant writing and program development experience

Essential Functions and percent of time: Operational Management – 35% Plan, manage, and direct the business of the Cancer Wellness Resource Center related to operations, budget, personnel Support the Program Director in problem-solving, project planning, and management Oversee daily operations across multiple service locations (WSU campus, Premier Health facilities, YMCA, and community sites) including prioritizing needs, delegating tasks, and troubleshooting problems as they arise Coordinate with facility partners to ensure proper space utilization and equipment maintenance Manage operational budgets and resource allocation including preparation of reports for data analysis and monitoring of financial resources. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Supervise scheduling of facilities and programming across all locations Coordinate with Premier Health team members for seamless service delivery Manage inventory and equipment needs Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve day-to-day efficiency and client experience



Essential Functions and percent of time (cont'd): Community Health Leadership – 35% Serve as primary community health worker for the program Develop and maintain relationships with community partners Design and implement community-based wellness programs Conduct community outreach to increase program participation Facilitate connections between cancer patients and available services Coordinate with local organizations to expand program reach Identify and address barriers to program access


Program Development & Implementation – 30% Collaborate with Program Director to implement strategic initiatives Oversee quality control of all program offerings Analyze relevant data to inform strategic decision-making Monitor program effectiveness and suggest improvements Support student learning experiences within the operational framework Assist in data collection for program evaluation Contribute to grant writing and program development efforts Non-Essential Functions and percent of time: Working Conditions Grant funded position with continuation dependent on funding.
