Coordinates completion of background screening and drug testing for pending job candidates by initiating and monitoring the process, obtaining required information from candidates and service vendors and reporting candidate status to stakeholders (recruiters, hiring managers and HR managers). Escalates background screening cases to stakeholders through application of adjudication guidelines and in accordance with defined company policy. Provides administrative support to recruiters by posting open positions to approved job boards and internet sites and assisting with special projects as assigned. Minimum of 2 years experience in a support role preferred. **CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES** None **COMMUNICATION SKILLS** Ability to modify offer letter language as requested using proper grammar. Ability to comprehend and interpret instructions, short correspondence, memos and ask clarifying questions to ensure understanding. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers and/or supervisor. Ability to effectively present information to an internal department and/or large groups of employees. **FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE** Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, salaries and commissions. **REASONING ABILITY** Ability to understand and carry out general instructions in standard situations to determine adherence to FLSA, FCRA requirements and company guidelines. Ability to solve problems to in standard situations. Ability to establish and maintain work priorities in support of multiple team members. **OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES** Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. **SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY** Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor. The minimum salary for the Candidate Care Specialist position is $50,000.00 annually [or $24.04 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Candidate Care Specialist position is $60,000.00 annually [or $28.85 per hour].
