Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with shipowners, charterers, and other stakeholders in the Capesize market. Identify and secure new business opportunities in the Capesize sector. Negotiate charter party agreements and fixtures on behalf of clients. Monitor market trends, analyze data, and provide market intelligence to clients. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of chartering operations. Maintain a thorough understanding of the Capesize market, including supply and demand dynamics, freight rates, and relevant regulations. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the chartering process. Requirements:
Experience: Ideally, 3-5 years of experience in shipbroking, specifically in the Capesize market. However, we are also open to fresh graduates or trainees who demonstrate a strong passion for the industry and a willingness to learn. Education: A degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field is preferred. Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. A proactive and results-oriented approach is essential. Attributes: High level of integrity, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a keen interest in the maritime industry. Competitive salary ranging from SGD 4,000 to SGD 15,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
