“As our CAPEX Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting our supply chain organization by ensuring world-class execution of projects that contribute to new product launches, capacity increases, sustainability initiatives, and cost improvements across Arla Foods sites. How you will make an impact

You will manage projects following the Arla Foods stage gate model from Exploration to Handover, including preparation and participation in gate approval with the Senior Leadership team. Your responsibilities will also include:

Deliver projects successfully in terms of Safety, Quality, Efficiency, Delivery, Sustainability & Cost Execute detailed plans covering scope, milestones, cost, resource, risks and mitigation Close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure strategical alignment in a matrix organization Work with our Procurement department during supplier selection and tendering Define and lead project teams with internal and external resources, fostering a collaborative environment Manage change orders through the change request process Have close collaboration with the project sponsor Communicate and present projects for steerco, project team and key stakeholders Coordinate the project with several site functions; Operations, Maintenance, QEHS & Logistics Connect all new installations to Arla IT platforms and systems

 

What will make you successful

Preferably you hold an engineering degree in a related field. Additionally, you should have:

+3 years of project management experience with proven achievements, ideally from the food industry. The ability to manage complex CAPEX projects involving new technology or processes Excellent communication skills Strong social skills The ability to drive collaboration effectively at many different levels in the organization. A proactive mindset and thrive in being decisive Able to drive change through informal leadership and trust building Speak and write fluent English at a technical level

 

What do we offer?

You will join a passionate team with colleagues and stakeholders locally and globally within Arla. Given the nature of the role, expect significant travel (approximately 50%), with travel requirements varying based on project location. You will be expected to have base in Denmark, but cross-regional tasks and support are to be expected, primarily in Sweden, Germany and UK hence domestic and international travel is part of the job.
