We are seeking a CAPEX & Real Estate Purchasing Manager to enhance our team. You will play a central role in contributing to the strategy for CAPEX purchasing & Real Estate Management in line with Equity Story and Industrial Management (CIM) Capex vision and Standardization.
GETTING A FLYING START
As our Industrial Solutions & Project Business Group prepares to become an independent company from the Group Nexans following their strategy “Electrify the Future”, we are creating more than 50 new positions to build our autonomous teams.
In this context we expect our CAPEX & Real Estate Purchasing Manager to manage globally our Real estate Strategy and CAPEX purchasing activities for projects, ensuring competitive, risk-minimized purchases aligned with Nexans' strategy and Total Cost of Ownership principles. He/She will optimize value creation through coordination between industrial partners and the purchasing community, develop key suppliers using margin levers to ensure business continuity. Will also plan activities in line with the strategic investment/capex program and priorities set by management and ensure compliance with purchasing rules, policies, and processes.
HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
STRATEGY & MANAGEMENT
Define and execute 3-5 year strategic purchasing plans for the Equipment category. Define and execute Real Estate strategy, managing and optimizing current rent Establish and monitor KPIs aligned with the strategic plan. Implement improvement initiatives and set purchasing standards. Conduct purchasing risk analysis and mitigation plans. Perform spend analysis.TRANSACTIONAL PURCHASING
Organize cross-functional project teams and address stakeholder needs. Challenge and standardize needs, consolidate requirements. Define specifications and supplier panels. Conduct RFIs/RFQs, lead negotiations, and manage contracts. Follow up on continuous improvement programs and claim mitigation.MARKET INTELLIGENCE
Analyze market trends, cost drivers, and conduct benchmarks. Build product cost structures and propose alternatives. Define sourcing strategies and coordinate global supplier sourcing. Implement reverse marketing and test potential solutions.SUPPLIER MANAGEMENT
Define supplier categorization and manage relationships. Update supplier portfolio and monitor performance. Implement continuous improvement programs and conduct audits. Deploy framework agreements and ensure compliance.OPERATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
Facilitate teamwork with internal stakeholders. Contribute to annual saving plans and monitor dashboards. Assist with compliance to Capex purchasing processes and rules.YOUR STARTING POINTS WHEN YOU JOIN

Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills. Langages required : French and English fluently. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills Experience in CAPEX Purchasing Legal and Real Estate skills and/or experience Ability to work independently, to prioritize work, to manage time efficiently, to delegate to direct reports when appropriate support function cost MS office skills,You’ll be at the right place to be in order to see the industry robotization, the mobility revolution and the energy transition.
