What this job involves:

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Capital Markets Analyst to join our team: 

Location: Bogota, Colombia.

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Work model: Hybrid. 

Contract Type: Indefinite-term.

 

This role combines financial analysis with research and consulting responsibilities, offering a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in finance, excellent research skills, and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.

What is your day to day?:

Financial Analysis (40%):

Assist in developing and maintaining financial models for real estate investments and development projectsSupport the underwriting process for potential acquisitions and refinancing opportunitiesHelp prepare investment memoranda and financial reports for internal and external stakeholdersAnalyze property operating statements, rent rolls, and other financial documents

Consulting Support (20%):

Assist senior team members in client engagements and consulting projectsContribute to the development of client deliverables, including presentations and reportsParticipate in client meetings and help address inquiries related to research and analysisSupport the team in developing strategic recommendations based on financial and market analysis

Market Research (30%):

Conduct in-depth market research on real estate trends, property types, and geographical areasGather and analyze demographic, economic, and real estate data to support investment decisionsMonitor industry news, regulations, and macroeconomic factors affecting the real estate marketPrepare market reports and presentations summarizing key findings and insights

General Support (10%):

Collaborate with various departments, including asset management, acquisitions, and development teamsSupport senior analysts in ad-hoc projects and analyses as neededContribute to the continuous improvement of team processes and methodologies

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field2-4 years of experience in real estate, finance, or consultingExperience with financial databases and research toolsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling

Skills desired:

Strong analytical and quantitative skillsExcellent research and data analysis capabilitiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
