Summary:

Huntington Bank Capital Markets Director, Syndicated and Leveraged Finance will contribute to the management of Debt Capital Markets Transaction Origination and Execution for covered sectors and banking teams within Huntington, bringing capital markets and industry expertise to the client in collaboration with partners in Banking Coverage, Underwriting, and Credit to lead successful transactions for our clients. Huntington Bank’s new colleague will fully manage the process from creating the client materials for presentations, advising clients or investors on all phases of transactions, and managing analysts and associates.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Leverage existing banking relationships to create and deliver capital markets expertise to clients in covered industry verticals. Lead full transaction process from pitch materials to successful close of each opportunityCreate and coordinate deal teams within the group and drive an outstanding culture of collaborationPartner effectively with internal teams to deliver market terms and investor view to CreditIdentify industry prospects for coverage universe and partner with Banking on prospecting efforts. Mentor, train, and develop- junior talent.

Basic Qualifications:

8 to 12 years of investment banking or corporate finance experience in targeted industryFINRA Series 79 & 63Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or equivalentTrack record of delivering successful outcomes in targeted sectorExcellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to interact effectively across all organization levelsProgressive thinker and problem solver, with a strong ability to manage ambiguity and complexityWork effectively in teams as well as independently across multiple tasks while meeting aggressive timelinesAbility to embrace change, constructively negotiate constraints, and effectively leverage resources to create exceptional outcomesConsistently model and inspire high levels of professional demeanor and integrity
