Capstone Partners is seeking a Market Intelligence Intern for the Summer of 2025 to assist in the research and production of outbound market intelligence content.
This individual will provide support to Capstone’s Market Intelligence team, tracking merger and acquisition (M&A) activity across a variety of sectors to be utilized by senior team members in research report production. The reports are essential to Capstone’s business development and brand recognition and are used by thousands of business owners, alliance partners, private equity groups, and news outlets as a valuable source of M&A information.
The Intern’s core responsibility will be to work closely with the firm’s Market Intelligence team to collect and analyze M&A, public, and private equity data for reports. Additional responsibilities include copy editing team content and assisting senior members of the team with research projects and research content creation. The Intern will also participate in a Lead Generation rotational program, assisting each Market Intelligence member with research projects in their respective coverage industries.
Applicants should have relevant experience or coursework in financial writing and must be a current or incoming undergraduate junior or senior, pursuing a four-year degree in an applicable major, preferably Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or English.
Responsibilities:
• Collect and analyze M&A, public, and private equity data
• Copy edit research reports and articles
• Track micro and macro-economic trends and industry news for M&A
impact
• Take on additional projects as needed
• Participate in local volunteer efforts
• Participate in Huntington Bank’s (Capstone is a subsidiary of Huntington)
innovation project as part of a team of interns across Huntington and
Capstone:
o Research, interview, survey colleagues to assist in developing a solution
to a broad issue
o Present issue and solution in front of a panel of judges (virtually and then in-person if team makes it to top three)

Compensation Range:
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Colleagues in Intern positions are eligible for paid holidays and Huntington’s retirement savings plan.
