TISTA is seeking a creative and talented Federal Civilian Capture Manager to join our high-performing growth team. This individual will be responsible for securing existing and winning new business opportunities in the Federal Civilian market. The successful candidate possesses technical education and related professional experience, resourcefulness, and motivation to join a cohesive, winning team. The position will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Capture & Growth.

Responsibilities Leads capture efforts to secure new, strategic contractsSupporting the development of a healthy, diverse, and sustainable sales pipeline of opportunitiesImproving capture win rate through continuous improvement of capture best practicesCreates and presents deal review presentations intended for corporate capture gate approvalsCollaborating closely with other members of the corporate functional areas, including Executive, Operations, Technology, Proposals, Contracts, and Pricing teamsCollaborate with proposal and business development professionals on strategic opportunities; analyze customer requirements, competitors, and internal capabilitiesApply knowledge of proven best practices in sales and capture management processesHelp develop and negotiate winning teaming arrangements with potential partners, including work share allocation and marketing arrangementsParticipate in color team proposal reviewsProvide accurate and timely data for weekly opportunity reviews and capture plan updatesForecast opportunity targets, track, and record activity on accounts to close dealsPerform market, competitor and price-to-win analysis and strategiesEnsuring the development of solutions that offer competitive distinction and map to the needs of the client Qualifications 3+ years of experience working in the Federal Government or GovCon environmentProven experience successfully leading and winning of at least two Federal Government contracts over $10M eachMust have in-depth knowledge and familiarity with USDA, IRS, DoE, DHSAdditional experience with Federal Health agencies is beneficialRelationships with government agency contactsAptitude for results-focused, milestone-based capture management processDiplomatic, persuasive, and articulate communication style to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external customers/partnersStrong oral and written communication skills and is versed at leading a disparate group to a common goalAbility to develop engaging and compelling presentationsSelf-motivation and flexibility to work on multiple competing prioritiesPositive and proactive can-do attitude and approachMust be a team player that proactively engages in a positive manner in all phases of the business development life cycleAbility to interact effectively with all levels of an organizationDocumented track record of winning new business both as a prime and subcontractorSales CRM experience

Education:

Undergraduate degree from accredited college or university in business management or related field

 

Work location:

Remote, with the ability to attend in-person meetings at TISTA’s HQ Rockville, MD, or Tysons Corner, Virginia, and clients across the country 

 

Location: 

The pay for this position ranges from $100,000 to $115,000, however the actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and locationThis position is eligible for our variable incentive based on specific deals TISTA associates are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits plan!
