- In Japan, GX-ETS and other carbon pricing systems are being considered for introduction, ERM has been receiving a variety of inquiries from clients seeking to procure credits that are compatible with the Japanese system and reliable.

In this business environment, we aim to help domestic and international clients to develop their strategies to utilize the carbon market as an effective tool for decarbonization, not only in the domestic system and market, but also in the rapidly changing international carbon market.

-ERM is a UK-based sustainability consulting firm with over 8,000 professionals specializing in sustainability and decarbonization globally. ERM Japan also has a diverse team of professionals, including those who have been involved in carbon trading since the Kyoto Protocol era and those who are familiar with domestic and international carbon pricing schemes, to help Japanese companies achieve their decarbonization goals and strengthen their business in this area by solving the issues that each company faces.

＜担当業務概要＞

・主に民間企業（国内・海外企業両方）向けに、カーボンプライシングに関する国内外制度や国際的議論の調査と、それを踏まえた戦略策定、プロジェクトFS業務の支援

・上記に伴う専門家ヒアリング、資料作成、プレゼンテーション、クライアントとのディスカッション業務

・一連の提案業務（提案書のストーリー検討、提案書作成、クライアントへのプレゼン・ディスカッションリード）

・カーボンクレジット取引にかかるリスク分析、交渉支援業務

・案件のプロジェクトマネジメントおよびチームメンバーの育成

<Responsibilities>

-Research on domestic and overseas legal framework related to carbon pricingand international discussions, and support for strategy formulation and project feasibility studies based on this research, mainly for private companies (both domestic and overseas)

-Expert interviews, preparation of documents, presentations, and discussions with clients

-Proposal work for clients(proposal planning, drafting , presentation and leadingdiscussion with clients)

-Risk analysis and negotiation support in transactions of carbon credit

-Project management and training team members

応募資格

【必須（MUST）】

・コンサルティングファーム、シンクタンクもしくは企業の経営戦略・サステナビリティ部門またはそれに類似するチームにおいて、以下記載の何れかの経験を有すること（2年以上）

-カーボンプライシング（特にETS（排出量取引）やカーボンクレジット）に関する制度や事業環境に関する調査の経験

-カーボンクレジットの創出または調達をプロジェクトマネージャーまたはそれに近しい立場で実施した経験

・コンサルティングファームやシンクタンク、事業会社において、事業部門長や経営層向け、または官公庁向けに資料作成、プレゼンテーション、外部ヒアリング、ディスカッション等一連の業務を担当した経験。

・資料作成スキル（Power Point、Word、Excel）

・チームメンバーの育成経験

・コンサルティングサービスまたはそれに類似する社外向け営業活動の経験

・ネイティブレベルの日本語力

Qualifications

MUST

1.Following experience at a consulting firm, think tank, or corporate strategy/sustainability department or similar team(at least 2 years)

a. Research on legal framework and business environment related to carbon pricing (especially Emissions Trading Systems and carbon credits)

b. Carbon credit creation or procurement as a project manager or in a similar position

2.Excecution of the tasks such as preparation of documents, presentations, external meetings, discussions for business unit heads, management of client, or Government office at a consulting firm, think tank.

3.Document preparation skills (Power Point, Word, Excel)

4.Training experience of team members

5.Experience in consulting services or similar external sales activities

6.Native level of Japanese

・カーボンプライシング以外の脱炭素領域（電力、エネルギー等）への興味

・カーボンクレジットに限らずコモディティー市場における取引関連経験

-Experience in commodity market transactions, not limited to carbon credits
