Description
As a Card Payment Consultant, you will be responsible for identifying and developing payables opportunities with new and existing customers in an assigned territory within our Commercial Banking segment.
Primary responsibilities include
Directing all elements of the sales cycle including business development, prospect qualification, needs analysis, presentations/product demos, negotiation, implementation and close.Meet and exceed sales goals and performance targets.Proactively manage and prioritize targeted prospect list; targeted card solutions to include full suite of Commercial Card Products.Coordinate/communicate client calling/interaction with appropriate Treasury Solutions Sales and Relationship Management colleagues.Develop roadmap to maximize product utilization.Provide industry benchmarking and insight into programs (key drivers of profitability or savings) to clients.Analyze clients’ payment processes and financial needs to offer tailored solutions.High level of presentation skills are required for the job, as well as demonstrated success in a sales (individual contributor) role.Must be able to build and maintain client relationships to grow and defend revenue.Strong communications skills, consultative, solutions based selling. Demonstrates integrity and honesty, has a strong work ethic, is self-directed and motivated to achieve results.Must be aggressive, self-starter, goal oriented able to recognize customer needs, link solutions to need, and act on customer readiness to buy.Collaborate with internal teams (i.e. TRMs, implementation, account management, and customer service) to ensure a smooth onboarding process and client satisfaction.Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Marketing or 5+ years in a commercial card sales capacity Proven experience in B2B sales, commercial banking or financial servicesStrong understanding of commercial payment solutions, credit cards, and treasury management services.Ability to work independently and drive sales growth.Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Proficient in Microsoft’s suite of Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Hours & Work Schedule
