Responsible for the radiologic procedures within the department. The person acts as a resource to other staff when X-ray and flouro are involved. Directly responsible under the direction of the MD for all radiographic and archiving equipment.
Work requires the level of knowledge normally acquired through completion of two to three years of occupationally-specific education beyond High School or an Associate's degree in Radiology Technology or closely related field. State of New Jersey licensure required. May explain clinical, technical and diagnostic procedures to patients and their families, comforting patients and their families, enforcing policies and regulations in difficult situations, or performing other duties requiring a comparable level of communication.
