**Responsibilities**
+ Deliver comprehensive, high-acuity care to patients in the Cardiac Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU).
+ Collaborate with cardiothoracic surgery, cardiology, anesthesia, and critical care colleagues to optimize patient outcomes.
+ Perform advanced procedures, including intubation, central and arterial line placement, chest tube insertion, and pulmonary artery catheterization.
+ Manage mechanical circulatory support systems such as Impella, ECMO, and LVAD, as well as vasoactive/inotropic infusions and ventilator support.
+ Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based protocols and clinical pathways tailored to complex cardiac patients.
+ Participate in departmental case reviews, strategy meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
+ Ensure meticulous and compliant documentation in the electronic medical record system.
+ Support academic and research initiatives, including participation in clinical trials and cardiac care innovation.
**Qualifications**
+ Fellowship training in **Cardiac Critical Care, Surgical Critical Care** , or **Anesthesia Critical Care** is required.
+ Candidates with **Advanced Heart Failure (AHF)** training and additional critical care experience within their fellowship will be considered.
+ Board Eligible or Board Certified in **Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure** , or **Critical Care Medicine** (Medical, Surgical, or Anesthesia).
+ **Extensive experience in a Cardiac Surgical ICU** setting is essential.

**Pay Range**
$238.631 - $238.631 /hour
