Position Summary:
Performs EKG and holter monitor procedures on inpatients and outpatients.
Maintains supplies of medical gas cylinders.
Inventories and stocks supply areas as necessary.
Performs routine clinical and administrative duties in support of assigned area or office.
Reports to: Respiratory Care Supervisor
Minimum EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent RequiredRequired SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 daysKnowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology desired. Prior hospital experience ispreferred.
