Founded in 1986, Cardiovascular Consultants (CVC) offers full-service cardiology care and services at 9 valley locations. Physician specialties include Electrophysiology, Interventional and Non-Invasive Cardiology. Our locations offer advanced testing including vascular and cardiac ultrasound, nuclear studies, and cardiac CT. We have specialized care teams to assist with a full circle patient experience, including anticoagulation and triage teams.
Clinics are conveniently located to Honor Health, Banner and Abrazo hospitals. Abrazo encompasses Biltmore Cardiology that is mostly central Phoenix with expansion to the west valley and growth plans into the northwest corridor. CVC, Heart One, Phoenix Heart and Biltmore Cardiology are in the top 4 in the valley.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrophysiology Cardiovascular Physician to join our dynamic cardiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with cardiac arrhythmias and related conditions. This position requires a physician with extensive expertise in all aspects of procedural electrophysiology including current ablation techniques, device implants and complex rhythm management. Comfortability performing procedures in the ASC setting is required. This individual must have a commitment to patient-centered care, team- work and a dedication to advancing the field through research and education.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
+ **Patient Care:**
+ **_Diagnose and treat patients with various cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions_**
+ **_Perform and interpret electrophysiological studies and procedures, including catheter ablation, pacemaker and ICD implantation, and other advanced electrophysiology interventions. Performance in ASC is required_**
+ **_Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs_**
+ **_Provide follow-up care to monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary_**
+ **Clinical Excellence:**
+ **_Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in the field of electrophysiology and integrate new techniques and technologies into practice_**
+ **_Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care_**
+ **_Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize care delivery_**
+ **Education and Mentorship:**
+ **_Educate and mentor advanced practice providers, nurses and other team members in the field of electrophysiology_**
+ **_Conduct and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities to promote professional development and knowledge sharing_**
+ **Research:**
+ **_Engage in clinical research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in electrophysiology and cardiovascular medicine_**
+ **_Publish research findings in reputable medical journals and present at national and international conferences_**

**Required Qualifications:**
+ **_Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school_**
+ **_Board certification in Cardiology and Electrophysiology_**
+ **_Valid state medical license and DEA license_**
+ **_Proficiency in performing complex electrophysiology procedures_**
+ **_Proven solid interpersonal and communication skills_**
+ **_Proven commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement_**
+ **_Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment_**
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ **_2+ years of experience_**
+ **_Experience in a high-volume electrophysiology practice_**
+ **_Experience in performing procedures in ASC setting_**
+ **_Leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting_**
+ **_Record of academic achievements and contributions to research in the field of electrophysiology_**
