Cardiac Exercise Specialist

Under the direction of the director/supervisor/charge nurse, the exercise specialist assists in the daily operation of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department through the instruction and supervision of clients during exercise sessions. Qualifications Education Bachelor’s Degree, Exercise Physiology Licensure/Certification/Registration BLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Previous experience in an undergraduate cardiac rehabilitation/wellness center or one (1) year practical experience One (1) year experience in developing exercise prescriptions for high-risk populations in a hospital-based cardiac rehabilitation or wellness center program Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
