Cardiac Interventional Radiology Technologist *Day*

Under the supervision of the Cath Lab Manager, Cardiologist, Electrophysiologist, Vascular surgeon, and Radiologist, operates radiographic equipment to obtain radiographic images of designated portions of the body to include cardiovascular, peripheral, endovascular, and neurological systems.  Performs all phases of cardiac, peripheral, vascular, and neuro-interventional to patients in Cardiac Cath Lab in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with the values and mission of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of AMA Approved Radiologic Technologist training program. Approved RCIS training program, Or Cath Lab specific on-the-job training. California Radiologic Technologist upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire. National Registered Technologist - Cardiac-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire, Or National Registered Technologist - Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire, Or National Registered Technologist - Vascular-Interventional Radiography within 1 year of hire, Or National Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist - Cardiovascular Credentialing International within 1 year of hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Minimum 1 year Cath Lab/IR Experience.

Preferred Qualification:

Fluoroscopy License, Certified by State of California upon hire.
