**Will hire a Respiratory Therapist(RT) or a Registered Nurse(RN) into this position


Responsibilities

In this role, you will provide nursing care to inpatient and outpatient cardiopulmonary rehabilitation participants. This includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient’s plan of care in coordination with the physician.

Collaborate with cardiologists, EKG techs, echo techs, and others to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Supervise inpatient and outpatient cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation exercise training and educational sessions.Interpret cardiac rhythms, oxygen saturation and assess for signs/symptoms of exercise intolerance, cardiac ischemia, or hypoxia. .When needed, triage patients for emergent or non-emergent care.  Problem-solve with staff, physicians, patients, families, and other health care team members/departments as needed.You’ll be a trusted educator and resource for your patients’ recovery and prevention of recurrent issues.
Qualifications
Associates degree in Nursing or Respiratory Thearpist from an accredited program collegeActive Registered license-RN or RTBasic Life Support (BLS) upon hireExperience with cardiac nursing or cath lab preferred
