Job Summary:
The Sonographer I performs and assists in performing a variety of procedures in Echo Lab, stress lab, and patient care areas. Including, adult, pediatric and neonate Echo's, adult TEE's, Dobutamine stress, contrast ECHO, peripheral vascular testing. This position treats / cares for patients of all ages. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the Performance Improvement Plan (PIP).Qualifications
Experience:
Theoretical background in basic electronics, hemodynamic measurements, exercise stress testing, cardiac sonography and vascular procedures.Certifications/ License:
Must have anĀ AHA Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.RG ARDMS or RCS is preferredCompletion of an approved (AMA) Program for Cardiovascular Technology or other allied health field with Certificate is preferred. Membership in National Organization for Cardiovascular Technologists is desirable.
