Job Description:

Seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Sonographer to join our dynamic cardiology team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing high-quality echocardiograms, providing accurate assessments of cardiovascular health, and working closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms (2D, 3D, Doppler) for adult patients.Evaluate and assess images to determine the nature of heart conditions and report findings.Assist physicians in interpreting results and offering preliminary assessments.Maintain accurate records of all echocardiograms and patient information.Ensure proper operation and maintenance of echocardiography equipment.Follow infection control and safety protocols.Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients to ensure comfort and cooperation during procedures.Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or from Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)Previous experience in echocardiography.Knowledge of various echocardiography techniques (TTE and stress echo).Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze and interpret results.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
