The community you’ll be caring for : AdventHealth Riverview

· AdventHealth is expanding our medical expertise, innovation, and state-of-the-art technology to southern Hillsborough County through a brand-new hospital in Riverview, which is scheduled to open in 2024.

· The new AdventHealth Riverview hospital will include 82 beds at time of opening with space to expand to 202 beds in the future.

· This $250 million project in Riverview also includes a 100,000 square foot, four-story Medical Office Building that will provide community members convenient access to expert care.

· AdventHealth Riverview will offer a wide range of health care services which includes emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care.

The role you’ll contribute :

Performs Echocardiograms (ECHOs) at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgement, in adverse situations. Obtains quality diagnostic echocardiogram scans and responds to the cardiologists input as appropriate and will assume responsibility for related tasks as needed. Works on team building initiatives with staff in section, and in the department. Works with both inpatient and outpatient orders. Has the ability to recognize normal and abnormal Echo scans. Maintains and reconciles Echocardiogram data base in Epic. Ensures overdue task list is clear by end of shift. Stocks supply areas and maintains Echocardiogram machines in clean working order. Assists in the Stress lab and Radiology department where campus scheduling allows. Demonstrates scheduling flexibility and is compliant with special requests as situations dictate. Performs some clerical duties, including the use of EMR application, word and excel.
