Work environment: Non-Invasive Cardiology

Work hours: PRN (As Needed)

Fast paced department averaging 15 Echo exams per day, including Transesophageal Echocardiograms. New TEEClean machine making processing probes safe and efficient. Call Required. Must be able to report in person within 60 minutes.

Here’s What You’ll Need

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. RDCS- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required or RCS - Registered Cardiac Sonographer upon hire required. Call required.  Must be able to report in person within 60 minutes.  BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. Associate's Degree/Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound technology is preferred.  1 year experience preferably in a hospital setting preferred. 

 

Here’s What You’ll Do

Imaging Procedures, Quality and Processing

• Explains procedures to patient or guardian/family member if applicable prior to exam  

• Positions patient to correct anatomical area of interest
