Job Summary:

Responsible for performing diagnostic echocardiogram exams using a variety of ultrasound equipment. Exams are performed in a professional manner demonstrating technical accuracy and cognitive sonographic skills to identify and record appropriate anatomical, pathological, and diagnostic images. Maintains ultrasound equipment and work areas.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International.Registered in Adult Echocardiography.Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology.Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
