Focus on delivering superb clinical care to a diverse, medically complex patient population in both the in-patient and outpatient arenas, supported by the highest-caliber cardiovascular invasive, diagnostic, and surgical services in a collaborative and multidisciplinary setting. *The Hartford HealthCare Inherited Cardiovascular Disease Program (ICDP)*is a multidisciplinary program for the care and management of patients with inherited cardiomyopathies, inherited arrhythmia syndromes, neuromuscular disease-related cardiomyopathy and aortopathies/connective tissue diseases involving the aorta. *_About the Position:_* Proficiency in nuclear, exercise and pharmacological stress testing, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, and carotid ultrasound studies is required. This opportunity includes in-patient and outpatient roles in the Hartford Region (Hartford Hospital and satellite offices) and oversight of the program across the system of Hartford HealthCare's Heart & Vascular Institute ("HVI"). The role provides consultative and follow-up care to adult cardiovascular patients. The successful candidate will have interest, training and experience in the work-up, diagnosis and treatment of ICD patients. Working with a dedicated cardiac genetic counselor, the candidate will continue to develop the Inherited Cardiovascular Disease program for the HVI. There are extensive clinical research opportunities available.
