Position Highlights:

Ideal candidate will be board certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with demonstrated clinical expertise in thoracic oncologyOpportunities for career and academic growth within WellSpan as well as through our oncology collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine Candidate will serve as the primary surgeon to build the thoracic surgical practice in Ephrata, Pennsylvania at Ephrata HospitalWork with a team of oncologist, radiation oncologist who are dedicated to giving comprehensive quality care to the Ephrata community and surrounding areasCollaborative working environment with pulmonary working out of the same office locationParticipate in tumor boards, research programs, clinical trials, and quality initiatives throughout the systemQuick drive to several major metros, including Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington D.C.Friendly communities with very low-cost living for the region

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required orDoctor of Medicine (MD) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required orLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Certification by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery with experience as a practicing cardiothoracic surgeon in the United States. Upon Hire Required andSuccessful completion of a General Surgery residency. Upon Hire Required andMust qualify and be a member of the Medical Staff of the Hospital.
