Overlook Medical Center is seeking a Registered Cardiac Sonographer to perform diagnostic quality echo cardiography procedures.  Candidate will perform echo doppler studies, stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms. This is a full-time position to cover primarily evening shifts with some weekends.

 

Essential Function/Responsibilities:

Performance of echocardiograms in accordance with established department protocols based on ASE and IAC standards and in compliance with Atlantic Health System (AHS) policies and procedures.  Complete clerical tasks associated with echo exams, including completing and recording all testing information accurately and in a timely manner.  Knowledge of DICOM workflow inclusive of work list, imaging, exporting, and preliminary reporting.  The sonographer will assist the physician with performance of Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and Stress echocardiograms as needed.
