**Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center has an opening for a Full Time Cardiovascular First Assistant!**
**As a Cardio First Assistant at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients.**
The Cardio First Assistant must promote good public relations for the department and Poplar Bluff RMC while maintaining patient/customer confidentiality. Medical Technologists are responsible for:
+ Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures.
+ Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery.
+ Ensures clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors, sponges to control bleeding.
+ Close surgery sites to and properly dressing wounds.
+ Collaborate with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients.
**Education / License / Certification:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Graduate of a certified surgical technician program and a recognized first assistant training program.
+ 0-1 year experience
