Medical Technologists are responsible for: + Provides direct support to surgeons during surgical procedures. + Positioning and prepping patients prior to surgery. + Ensures clear visibility for the surgeon by using instruments such as retractors, sponges to control bleeding. + Close surgery sites to and properly dressing wounds. + Collaborate with doctors and other surgical team members to ensure proper post-operative care of patients. **Education / License / Certification:** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Graduate of a certified surgical technician program and a recognized first assistant training program. + 0-1 year experience **We know it’s not just about finding a job.
