The role you’ll contribute:

Under close supervision the Cardiovascular Interventional Tech I is a new Cardiovascular Technology graduate or a newly hired Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)], or Respiratory Therapist (RRT), cross training to perform effectively in all three roles (scrub, circulate, monitor) which are utilized during a variety of Cardiovascular, Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Collects and organizes blood, tissue, and other bodily fluid samples from patients

· Communicates with physicians regarding image results

· Assists physicians when inserting catheters and performing other invasive procedures

· Interprets test results to determine diagnoses and provides treatment recommendations

· Ensures equipment is in working order and ready for use

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed :

· Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

· Must be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Must possess and maintain one of the following:

· Current valid State of license as a Registered Nurse (RN)

· Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)]

· Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)

· Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
