Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist $20,000 Sign on Bonus!!
Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $35.20 - $52.80 an hour - Full time, Days. 40 hours a week. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to provide direct patient care and assist physicians in performing invasive and specialized cardiac procedures within the Cardiac Catheterization. Possess the knowledge and skills necessary to manage patient care in a competent manner as outlined below. Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with the healthcare team to provide quality care in the procedural area. Provide On Call coverage for after-hours cases.

Qualifications •ARRT and/or RCIS and/or RN licensure in good standing. •BLS required within the conditional period •ACLS required within the conditional period •RCES and/or CEPS preferred for EP Lab. •Minimum of one year experience in an Acute Care setting required and one year of Cardiac Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology Lab experience preferred.
Responsibilities •Provide patient care in conformance with current recognized practice, procedures, policies and established standards of care. •Enhance the quality and timeliness of patient care by working cooperatively with other personnel •Review all pre-procedural tests to assure patient safety. Incomplete or unusual findings are reported to cardiologist and documented prior to procedure. •Monitor patient conditions continuously for immediate recognition, interpretation and management. •Provide post procedural care and maintenance of arterial and/or venous hemostasis until patient is transferred to the next level of care. •Assist in recovery patient per hospital policy. •Calibrate, adjust, maintain and operate equipment as necessary to ensure the safe and accurate administration of tests and procedures. Monitor equipment and report any malfunction •Responsible for keeping all licenses and certifications up to date. •Function as preceptor to students and new employees •Coordinate with other hospital departments and staff independently during after hours cases. •Troubleshoot and make decisions independently during after hours cases. •Cath Lab: Participation and formation of department Call Schedule.
