About this position

The CVPACs Administrator is responsible for facilitating successful integration and department maintenance of the cardiovascular PACs systems and related systems including operational support, interface monitoring, and is the application contact resource for assisting all IT groups with administrative functions. This position operates as the intial point of contact for cardiologists, CV surgery, referring physicians, and cardiovascular service line across the system. This position requires interaction with sales, technical support, field service, the end users, and outside vendors. The CVPACs Administrator must develop relationships and communication methods to ensure status feedback and cooperation among these groups. This position ensures that customer expectations for the PACs systems are achieved.

 

Requirements

Education

• BA/BS in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, healthcare or business-related degree preferred
• Associate degree in related field required with 7 years of application use within a business and healthcare IT experience.
   

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years in a healthcare related field, using information technology in daily operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Demonstrated analytical critical thinking skills for process development or problem resolution.
• Demonstrated expertise and efficiency in customer service methodology and accountability.
• Demonstrated working knowledge and expertise of healthcare processes and application system coordination.
• Demonstrated knowledge of database structure and working practice of reporting techniques and tools.

Salary Range: N23 ($39.83 - $59.74), based on experience  

Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
