Cardiovascular Pulmonary Service Line

Physician Administrator 

Qualifications: Active North Carolina Medical License and CaroMont Regional Medical Center Medical Staff membership in good standing. Specialty specific Board certification, full time employment by CaroMont Medical Group, and actively caring for patients. 

Job Summary: The Cardiovascular Pulmonary Service Line (CVPSL) Physician Administrator directly influences the overall quality and standardization of care, patient experience, medical leadership, and economic performance to improve population health for the Service Line. The Physician Administrator works 1-on-1 with the CVPSL Senior Director. This compensated position has a time commitment up to 20 hours per week, approximately 80 hours per month.

 

Responsibilities:

Lead and collaborate with the Cardiovascular Pulmonary Service Line (CVPSL) Leadership team to support the vision and mission of CaroMont Health. Develop, oversee, and participate in cardiovascular/pulmonary strategic planning processes and relevant Cardiovascular Pulmonary Service Line meetings and initiatives Participate in the development and implementation of Care Pathways, Quality Improvement, and Safety to standardize disease management and align operational and clinical workflow Improve bidirectional communication between CaroMont Health and CMG providers Provide diversity of perspective to CaroMont organization Participate in strategically important community, regional, and state population health initiatives. Work collaboratively on behalf of CVPSL with CaroMont primary care and specialty service lines, medical directors, and clinic operations to better align communications, clinical pathways, quality, and patient care coordination. Serve on the Physicians Executive Council as a representative of the CVPSL
