The Cardiac Cath Recovery Specialist is primarily responsible for the well being of the patient pre/post diagnostic catheterization, angioplasty, cardioversion, or pacemaker/ICD implantation procedure and recovery of interventional radiology patients. It is expected that the Cardiac Cath Recovery Specialist, when necessary, be available to assist in the Cath Lab. The specialist must ensure optimum patient care and safety and encourage cooperation among all personnel and instill professionalism in the Cardiac Catheterization Recovery Unit and in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Required:
Current Registered Nurse Licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Must have at least 2.5 years of experience in critical care nursing or 5 years of post cath lab recovery experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills to interact with patients, patient's families and coworkers.
Must be a team player.
