Works in collaboration with the director Operations to align the cardiac and pulmonary continuum of care for patients. Responsibilities Provide supervisory oversight for patient care and administrative functions in cardiac and pulmonary rehab departments Collaborate with physician leaders in a dyad relationship Develop and coordinate quality improvement initiatives Support program expansion and enhance patient throughput Create and maintain departmental procedures and standard workflows Offer operational support and supervision to team members Foster interdepartmental relationships and teamwork Manage departmental resources and operational budget effectively Drive customer service efforts and patient experience improvements Participate in teaching and learning opportunities Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and policy standards Coordinate emergency training and core competency development for staff Manage schedules, timekeeping, and approvals Serve as a cardiovascular spokesperson for community education programs Qualifications Skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in quality improvement methodologies Budget management experience Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information Experience Required 2 years of experience working within a cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation setting. Credentials Essential: BLS - Basic Life Saving Certification from American Heart Association ACLS - Advance Cardiovascular Life Support Certification from American Heart Association Education Bachelors degree in Exercise physiology, Exercise Science, Respiratory therapy, Nursing, or related field of study.
