All while understanding that **together** we are even better. **Schedule:** Full Time Days **Shift** : Monday through Friday Day Shift **The role you’ll contribute:** The Cardiovascular Sonographer performs adult and geriatric echocardiography and assists physicians with transthoracic and stress echocardiography. Performs vascular ultrasound to include venous Dopller and arterial segmental exams. Adheres to AdventHealth’s Corporate Compliance Plan, rules and regulations of all local, state and federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies **The value you’ll bring to the team:** + Accesses available patient information pertaining to the exam ordered, for exam appropriateness, confirmation of patient identity, correlation of diagnostic reports, and new symptoms. + Performs Cardiac studies (Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Echo) + Performs Vascular studies (Arterial, Venous, Carotid, Renal Artery, Abdominal Aorta and ABIs) + Prepares preliminary reports and communicates pertinent information to Physicians about abnormal findings. + Operates and calibrates equipment effectively, safely, and efficiently. Reports malfunctions, supply shortages to immediate supervisor or director. + Prioritizes time and resources to meet daily workloads. + Performs Quality Assessment and participates in performance improvement. **The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:** **Minimum qualifications:** + Associate Degree (Cardiovascular Technology, Ultrasound Technology, Respiratory Care, Nursing, Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Technology) or equivalent certification + Minimum of one (1) year of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular technology + BLS / CPR Certification + Active registry with ARDMS or CCI in either Echo or Vascular **Preferred qualifications:** + Advanced knowledge medical technology and terminology + Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
