Your opportunity

 

Your goal is to deliver scalable global analytics solutions that meet the needs of multiple client groups. Your aim is to be become a trusted advisor who understands business objectives and roadmaps, guiding senior stakeholders on how best to achieve these objectives with advanced analytic solutions.

 

Advanced Analytics Leadership: Launch and evolve analytics solutions, leveraging AI to drive innovation. Apply your extensive background in cloud data platforms, large language models, machine learning, and financial data management to drive innovative analytics solutions and support advanced decision-making processes. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and a technical product team. Work with Analytics Domain Architects, Data Architects, and the broader Architecture community to implement best practices. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of application engineers, data engineers, data analysts, technical business analysts and testers. Focus on the development of team members’ skills and personal development goals. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including but not limited to Sales, Marketing, Distribution Strategy & Analytics, Enterprise Data Management, and Data Science teams. Ensure clear communication with stakeholders about project progress, statuses, and risks, making sure product and feature goals are clear and aligned with business objectives. Technical Leadership: Apply your knowledge of data warehouse concepts and your experience designing star schemas to design and scale solutions. Leverage Power BI and Tableau for cutting-edge data visualization and analytics. Product Ownership: Plan, prioritize, and maintain a 12-month product roadmap, in collaboration with the Product Manager, that delivers maximum value for the business and aligns with the company’s strategic priorities. Ensure non-functional requirements are captured and incorporated, emphasizing production readiness and sufficient risk-based testing. Plan and prioritize product releases, determining when releases occur, and which features and enhancements will be included in each release. Capacity and Resource Planning: Lead work estimation exercises and determine resourcing required to deliver planned work. For Enterprise projects, collaborate with Project Management colleagues to ensure resourcing is allocated to support delivery of prioritized projects and that accurate and robust delivery plans are developed. Product Support: Serve as Level 2 or 3 support for issues that arise in your product area. Collaborate with stakeholders regarding the correction (or not) of defects. Carry out other duties as assigned

 

Must have skills

 

Proven team management experience leading a high-performing team of technology professionals. Success leveraging cloud data platforms and data analytics for decision-making and insights. Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts. Experience designing star schemas. Understanding of large language models, machine learning, and AI technologies. Experience with PowerBI & Tableau Previous Product Owner experience with a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Scrum Alliance certification. Proficiency with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Aha!). Experience documenting processes and procedures, including business process documents, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

 

Nice to have skills

 

A master’s degree in engineering and/or Finance is preferred, though equivalent industry experience will also be considered. Experience in the Financial and/or Software sectors is strongly preferred.

Compensation information 

 

The base salary range for this position is $140,000 to $160,000. This range is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different.  This role will remain open through October 11, 2024.

Annual Bonus Opportunity:  Position is eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus award from the profit pool.  The profit pool is funded based on Company profits.  Individual bonuses are determined based on Company, department, team and individual performance.
