The opportunity


We have a newly created permanent opportunity for a talented Capability Lead - Reward Strategy and Governance. 
As the Capability Lead - Reward Strategy and Governance, you will lead the development and execution of Woolworths Group's reward strategy across Australia, New Zealand, and internationally reporting into the Chapter Lead Performance, Reward and and Mobility.

What you’ll do:

 

You will oversee the design and governance of reward programs, including executive reward. 

 

 

Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive reward strategies for Woolworths Group across Australia, New Zealand, and International, including executive reward programs. Oversee the design and governance of reward programs, ensuring they enable our strategy, support individual and team performance and are competitive against our market peers. Establish and maintain robust governance processes and controls for reward programs, including policy development and performance metrics. Leverage data analytics to measure the effectiveness of reward programs and inform strategic decision-making. Development of reward-related Board papers and external reporting for the Group and our accelerator businesses. Support development of performance and reward partnering capability within our Chapter.

 

 

What you’ll bring:

 

Reward experience: 12+ years in reward, with expertise in incentive plan design and market practices. ASX experience: Strong understanding of industry trends and ASX reporting and disclosure requirements. Leadership: Proven leader, supporting team growth and demonstrating horizontal leadership. Stakeholder management: Skilled at influencing and building relationships with senior management, with experience preparing Board-level materials. Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving ability, using both qualitative and quantitative data.
