About the role

 

As a Dispatch Manager you will work with the eCom fulfilment team staging orders once picked and loading our delivery vehicles within timeframes ensuring on time off dock for our fleet, whilst creating a great team experience and safe operating environment. As a part of creating a safe working environment, all candidates for this role can expect to undergo a pre-employment medical check as part of the recruitment process.

 

What you'll do

 

Oversee daily dispatch with team &  transport providers, ensure accurate staging and loading based on forecasts, and observe tote management to minimise loss and ensure availability

Oversee the staging and loading of all customer orders, ensuring timely completion and adherence to critical temperature controls. Collaborate with the eCom fulfilment team to achieve these goals

Regularly review, improve, and maintain operational and compliance activities to boost efficiency, service, safety, engagement, and manage costs

Guide and coach the team to consistently meet quality and accuracy standards in order fulfilment, aligning with both customer and business expectations.

Lead by example in demonstrating a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, ensuring that the team consistently prioritises the customer experience in all operations

 

What you'll bring

 

Demonstrated experience in retail leadership roles

Experience working in Online Department

Proven ability to coach and develop team members

Experience in leading and implementing change initiatives

Understanding of online order fulfilment processes and systems

Knowledgeable in inventory management, production, and replenishment practices

Experienced in leading and developing diverse teams

Strong written and verbal communication abilities

Effective time management, planning, and organisational tasks

Experience in team member development and engagement

Experience in using computer, digital tools and resources
