Your opportunity
Execute the local compliance monitoring program, escalate and resolve exceptions to Line Manager and relevant functions Proactively monitor, analyse and manage changes to the local regulatory developments, and ensure implementation of regulatory changes by the business and in conjunction with the global Regulatory Developments team Identify compliance processes for enhancements and takes the lead on ad-hoc projects as agreed with the line manager Review compliance-related breaches and risk events to ensure they are appropriately remediated, reported and preventative actions are implemented. Establish and maintain good working relationship with both internal and external stakeholders (including auditors and local regulators) and act as liaison personnel on compliance, regulatory and audit matters Prepare compliance reporting for boards and compliance committees Administer Group Compliance policies such as Personal Account Dealing and Gifts and Entertainment policies Conduct compliance training for all Singapore staff Review regional marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, legal documents and presentations Maintain licence register and administer all licensing applications and related notes for region Provide support on corporate secretarial matters Carry out other duties as assigned

Must have skills
5 to 7 years of compliance experience preferably within the funds management industry in Singapore (other relevant financial and audit experience may be considered) Degree qualified (commerce/business, accounting, law) Good understanding of the financial services market place and its component parts across retail, wholesale and institutional channels Ability to deal with business units across time zones and regions Proven ability to work independently and proactively at all times Good team player with a flexible results driven approach and a growth mindset Strong Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), organisational and time management skills
Nice to have skills
Good understanding of major investment markets and trends across most asset sectors Demonstrate good commercial acumen and often thinks outside the box Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
