Tomlinson Infrastructure is seeking a detail-oriented, organized leader with extensive shoring & piling experience to join their team as a Superintendent.

SUMMARY
The Superintendent supervises and co-ordinates activities of workers. Is responsible for the quality of work and for keeping the project on time and within budget. Plan, coordinate and schedule construction projects. Skills/Specialties include Construction Site Inspection, Job Scheduling, Project Management, Safety Compliance, Scheduling, Team Leadership. The Superintendent, provides expertise, applies the latest technologies.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Works with management team to ensure continual information transfer Work with Foremen to ensure required quantities of product are maintained for inventory Oversight for float moves Set production targets Ensure all employees are trained and competent in their assigned tasks Develop a solid liaison with our Project Managers to support and ensure success of our projects, where required Ensure safe work site. Overall responsibility to ensure the crews meet the expected production levels Provides oversight to the field resources. Oversees the moving of equipment and crews daily to ensure the correct equipment and crew are onsite when required Meet with field teams regularly to maintain open communications and ensure projects are proceeding correctly Liaison with contract administrators and government agency personnel as required. Attends various meeting - site meetings, look-ahead meetings, and bid reviews as required Develops relationships with suppliers and subcontractors. Act as a liaison for Quality to track quality control and ensure quality plans are issued Employee management Writes and delivers evaluations on foremen and development plans. Work with foremen to ensure quality crew are in place Manages 6-10 foremen and crews Recruitment, selection and employee relations management
WORKING CONDITIONS
Works on the job site. Long hours, night and weekend work as required Working outside in all types of weather
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Completion of secondary school is required, CET is considered an asset 15+ industry field experience 10+ years of supervisory experience . Experience in the following areas Solider Piles & Lagging Walls / Sheet piling / Caisson Walls Tieback Drilling Rock Anchors Micro Piles Drilled & Driven Foundation Piles Underpinning Understanding of Welding Procedures and PoliciesTOMLINSON OFFERS:
