In this role, you will:
Demonstrate ownership of Career Service goals and outcomes through direct management of internal operations that ensure that student employment outcomes are achieved and consistent with the College’s vision standards relative to in-field employment and average salary. Embrace and embody the College’s vision standard relative to relationship management by:a) Developing and managing relationships with current students and graduates that includes providing coaching and instruction in interviewing, resume preparation, job application, pre-interview preparation and job acceptance/salary negotiation.
b) Assist Career Services Department with business development.
c) Work collaboratively with Career Services Director to ensure needs of employers are effectively matched with skills/qualifications of graduates and interns.
d) Conduct classroom presentations for new and continuing students to provide information regarding the employment process and trends.
e) Participate in campus activities including, but not limited to: orientation, career fairs, open houses, class presentations, student events, and graduation and award ceremonies, professional development seminars, workshops, internships, mock interviews and the portfolio process. Maintain internal reports (Excel and CRM) assessing and reporting department performance relevant to key performance indicators.
Part-Time - 20 hours per week Monday through Friday, Flexible with one evening per week. This position is on-site with travel between our Parma and Solon campuses
