Overview Instructs students in basic life, work and career skills relating to obtaining and retaining gainful employment and readiness to work. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT Associate's degree from a 2-year college or technical school; no substitutions. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT At least two (2) years of experience in a related field. May include any of the following: Public Speaking, Classroom Instruction, Workshop presentation, Curriculum Development, Presentation Development, or working with Job Readiness and Job Retention activities-includes but not limited to resume writing, personal appearance, interview techniques, having the proper attitude, attendance, and customer service. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES None listed. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. WORK ENVIRONMENT The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Position is located in Jay or Catoosa will be determined by candidate.
