Responsibilities 1st Shift - 6:00 am to 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm on Friday and Saturdays as business needs dictate Starting pay $18.00/hr, additional compensation will be evaluated based upon experience Now hiring for a Production Worker in our "CARES" (Cleaning and repair evaluation services) Department. This role will be counted on to perform the following tasks: Inspection, review, and evaluation of turnout gear ranging in age and condition. Prep, repair, and conducting alterations of turnout gear. Constructing/building/assembly of a variety of small parts to support production value streams. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Extensive understanding of products and applicable work instructions dating back 10 years from present. Knowledge of Globe products and materials. Experience with patterns and/or alterations. Prioritizes own tasks to complete them in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision. Positively approaches change or new situations. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with employees at all levels Computer skills: Basic skills with Microsoft 365; ability to navigate order system and access basic data. Ability to sit and stand during an 8-hour shift. Ability to push, pull, and lift to 25 lbs. as needed. Able to multi-task, depending upon department needs. Working knowledge of NFPA 1851 standards (training provided). Ability to collaborate in a team environment. Willingness to perform a variety of tasks. Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience Required: 1+ year stitching experience #LI-MI1 #LI-Onsite
