In this position, you will oversee the Cargo Transport and Engineering Department, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of cargo. You will lead a team of engineers and naval architects, focusing on optimizing cargo stowage, heavy lifting, and sea-fastening. Your role will include developing strategic operational plans, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, and fostering collaboration across departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and management, with experience in multipurpose carriers (MPPs) being highly desirable.


Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Ocean, or Structural Engineering, or equivalent Proven leadership experience in a shipping or maritime environment Strong understanding of cargo operations, stowage, and structural analysis Proficient in AutoCAD and FEA software (e.g., Ansys) Knowledge of Class Societies and IMO regulations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and collaborate effectively
