KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design and create art products on park guests while demonstrating impeccable product knowledge, determining guests’ needs by actively engaging them in conversation, and using proven suggestive selling techniques to generate salesEnthusiastically provide information to park guests regarding retail products, services and general information pertaining to Darien LakePerform inventory related stock functions as needed including maintaining proper sales floor stock levels, documenting receipt of and the transfer of product into and out of the retail location, and participating in cycle counts as necessaryMaintain merchandise visual display presentation and cleanliness in accordance with SF Darien Lake standardsClean and maintain retail facility interior and exterior daily, or more often as need dictatesOperate cash register including the handling of cash, credit card and travelers’ check transactions in accordance with department and park guidelines and cash handling policies.Balance and reconcile cash register when applicableMonitor all areas of the sales location throughout the day in order to assist guests, maintain location visual standards and protect facility assetsPerform all job duties in a safe mannerQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
