Position Description:

Nevada Gold Mines is looking for an Open Pit Driller (Tech 4 or Higher) to join our Goldstrike Operations team.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Open Pit Drill & Blast Supervisor, the Open Pit Driller is responsible for the following:

Ensure drill area is properly cleaned before drilling and maintain an awareness of what is happening in work area - other traffic, machinery and plant, individuals Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Previous Surface Drilling/Blasting experience preferred Valid Nevada drivers’ license required Heavy equipment operating experience preferred Ability to carry at least 50 pounds required Excellent verbal, written, and radio communication skills required Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team required Satisfactory safety, performance, and attendance records required The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.
